In Jigsaw year one have thinking about friendships and being kind. We took turns to say what a good friend looked like. Each child picked a friend and said a positive thing about why they were a good friend in order to boost their confidence and make them feel worthwhile and appreciated. Every ...child willingly took part and it had a positive impact on all. We then sorted statements into kind and unkind ones and said why we didn't like the unkind statements.
