We had a visit from Reverend Ian this morning. He talked about friendship and what it is to be a good friend. The children suggested some ideas of being a good friend. Such as, give them a bracelet, sweets a teddy and some love. The children then pulled some objects from the large present. First they chose a clock which represented giving your friend some of your time. Next there was a picture of some ears, which represented listening to your friends. Then the children chose a box of hankies which was to represent comforting your friend if they are poorly or sad. Finally the children took out some England football shirts which represented working as a team with your friends. We then sang a song about God.
