We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and determination that 7 Blue have shown towards reading this half term. The children are becoming more confident readers and have worked hard to develop their reading skills. It has been wonderful to see them reading with increasing fluency, answering questions thoughtfully and growing in confidence. Each day, the children enjoy spending five minutes reading for pleasure, giving them the opportunity to relax with a good book and develop a lifelong love of reading. It was lovely to welcome our parents and carers into the classroom last week to join us for one of our reading sessions. We hope you enjoyed seeing first-hand how hard the children work and the strategies we use to support their reading development.
