In Geography, the children have been developing their atlas skills by locating and identifying different African countries on a map. They then selected one country to research further, exploring its latitude, time zone and climate. The children considered whether their chosen country experiences hot or cold temperature and investigated how its location in relation to the Equator influences its climate. This has helped the children develop their map reading skills and deepen their understanding of the relationship between location and climate.
