In year 5 this week, as part of our Learning Means the World theme “Mission Control”, we have been focusing on our amazing art skills!
We looked at different images of planets in our solar system and different phases of the moon. The children then used watercolour paint to create their own planet using different painting techniques and brush strokes. We talked about hues, tints and tones and enjoyed creating bespoke colours for our own artwork.
We have some beautiful pieces now for our display! What a creative class we have.
