What a fantastic way to to end the term. We congratulated our 98% and 100% attendance champions and celebrated the children who received Head Teacher Awards. We are incredibly proud of all of our children and their achievements this year and it was lovely that so many parents were able to join us for the assembly. After an incredible 36 years of teaching, it is time for us to say farewell to our amazing Deputy Head Teacher. She has touched the hearts of so many pupils and parents within the Hebburn community and will be remembered with great fondness by all. Enjoy your retirement, Miss Corker, we look forward to hearing all about your adventures.

Two members of our School Council, Mia and Coen, visited South Shields Town Hall last week for a special celebration event, where they accepted the award as representatives for the school.

Year 3 and Year 4 completed their online safety assembly. They talked about all the things they have learnt across the school year. Some of these things were:
We are so very proud of what the children have achieved in their online safety Lessons.
The parents then stayed for a workshop with Amanda Hayward from the Openzone. We discussed a range of safety elements such as age ratings and setting safety systems on devices. The slides from this have been shared on dojo.
