Our Upper Key Stage Two Girls continued their unbeaten run in this year’s Primary School Girls’ Football League at Hebburn Comprehensive on Wednesday afternoon.
Up first was Bede Burn Primary and an evenly-matched game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.
Next, we played St Oswald’s Hebburn and our girls re-discovered their winning ways with a 3-1 victory.
Well done girls and thanks too to Mrs Richardson for her support with the team.
The next round of games will be played on Wednesday 6th April.
We had a great day in 4 Blue’s classroom yesterday for a ‘Harry Potter’ inspired day. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and embraced the experience. They began their day by taking part in a Harry Potter quiz, followed by a game of quidditch before break. After break, the children demonstrated their art skills by sketching Dobby followed by wand making. After lunch in ‘The Great Hall,’ the children made traditional ‘Butter beverages’ and met our surprise visitors, the owls.

The children creatively flew on a makeshift broomstick to play a tournament and scored lots of goals, whilst also trying to catch the Golden Snitch to win the game! This wasn’t an easy task as they had to avoid the bludgers.
