What a fantastic day we had at the Stadium of Light for Sunderland’s final game of the season against Chelsea.
We were given the opportunity for three children to represent our school as flag bearers at the game…and what a day we had! We even got a wave and a “Hello!” from a very special player, close to all our hearts here at Hebburn Lakes, the one and only home grown Chrissy Rigg.
Last week our Year Five and Six Young Sports Leaders attended a catch up event at Marine Park. This involved the boys completing an orienteering course around the park, using their skills to find clues. They gave an amazing performance showing maturity and resilience throughout the day.
