Well done to our 100% attendees for last week!

Key Stage Two performed beautifully at St John’s church on Friday – well done everyone!
An extra special thank you to all of the children with speaking parts – it’s not always easy to stand up in front of a church full of people – but you did it and you should be proud.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who came to support our children, we hope you enjoyed it.
As part of our Christmas celebrations, Nursery have had a Polar Express Day. We came to school in our pyjamas, watched the movie, explored hot chocolate cloud dough, hunted for bells in the shaving foam and then got our tickets for a ride on our very own Polar Express train. We even had some hot chocolate on the train.

Ian, from St John’s Church in Hebburn, came to visit us for a special assembly to discuss how we are all special in different ways; how to think about each others feelings and respect each other at all times. We had a lovely sing and a dance together.
If you are having a January sort out of clothes and shoes, please don’t forget that you can drop them into the school conect container, which is located beside the garage. All dontations made, help us to access vital additional funding for school.
If your child hasn’t had a flu vaccination and you would like them too, the School Immunisation Team have arranged a flu vaccine clinic at Palmers Hospital in Jarrow, Monday – Friday 3:30- 4:45, all this week and next.
This is for children in reception to Year 6 and Secondary Year 7,8 and 9.
