Child exploitation takes many forms, and any child or young person can be exploited – there is no stereotypical victim.
We all need to:
- help prevent children becoming victims,
- be aware of the signs that a child might be being exploited, and
- speak out if we see something suspicious.

This week, the nursery children enjoyed a spring walk around the school grounds. We were looking for signs of spring. Although it was windy, it was quite a mild day – a sure sign that we are waving goodbye to winter and have some warmer weather on the way! We found flowers and noticed new leaves growing on the trees. We even saw bumblebees on the hunt for flowers, just like us!
While in the main school yard, we took the opportunity to practice our climbing and balancing skills on the trim trail and enjoyed playing on the play equipment too!

We’ve had lots of fun today, taking part in Red Nose Day. We loved dressing up in red and our other favourite colours. We decorated biscuits with Red Nose Day faces, using cherries, chocolate drops, raisins and strawberry laces. They looked very funny!
