For our final football lesson in PE, we used all the skills we have learnt over the last few weeks and implemented them in some team games.
Inourplace have some amazing courses on offer for families across South Tyneside from learning about your children from birth up to teenage years to teenagers learning about their own emotions and well-being. There are also courses for grandparents as well as learning about ourselves as parents/carers. These courses are to better our understanding on behaviours, emotions, our own mental health as parents/carers and lots more!

As part of our new text, ‘Leon and The Place Between’ the children have enjoyed completing some drama based activities. As you can see, they fully embraced the challenge.
Today in our geography lesson, we looked at the 7 continents and the 5 oceans. We learned two songs to help us remember all of the continents and oceans. We then were able to identify where the continents are on the map and as a challenge, we located the oceans. If you ask us, we will be able to sing you our songs!
As part of our ‘Come Fly With Me: Africa!’ theme we have enjoyed learning how to play the djembe drums.
3 Red have been using 100’s square to find complements to 1 hundred. Once they gained some confidence, they were then able to apply their understanding of number bonds to find a complement to 100 with ease!
This half term, we have Mrs Smith teaching us French. Our topic is ‘Ma Famille’, my family. This week, we went through family members and practised how to say them and write them.
