In English today 1 Red mixed together some spectacular ingredients to make a witches potion, just like in the witch in our text ‘Room on the Broom’. The children chose what they wanted to go into the cauldron and gave it a stir, before saying the magic words ‘abracadabra ziggety zaggety zoom’. The children used time conjuctions of: first, next, then and finally, to describe the instructions for making the potion. Many childrren had a go at writing the instructions in our English provision time.
