Nursery have totally immersed themselves in gingerbread this week! We have been so creative; designing people and recreating the story. We decided to taste some gingerbread men, talking about how they smell, the feel of them when we touch and then eat them. Everyone agreed they were delicious.
We have also been grouping, subitising and singing songs using number names. We’ve started to explore 1 more and 1 less using objects and 5 frames. We created story maps and used positional language to say where the gingerbread man was going. We also used repeated language patterns. Just a fabulous week of showing how amazing they all are.
