This week our Year Six Boys Football Team played in the next stage of The Gidney League. They gave an amazing performance, but unfortunately lost, a very close game, to Saint Bedes 1-0. However, they went on to beat Saint Josephs, 7-1, in a brilliant match-showing determination and resilience throughout. They were a credit to our school; displaying positive attitudes and true sportsmanship… Well done boys!
Parents and carers of children and young people with SEND are welcomed to book onto this upcoming SEND Transitions Event on Tuesday 18th March 2026 from 9:30am – 1:00pm at Jarrow Focus.
The event will bring together key services, schools and support teams to share good practice, explore current processes, and gather parental feedback on transitions at all stages.

In Science today the children looked at the process of how plants and flowers grow. The children were able to discuss the different elements that a seed needs to help it flourish and develop. The children then all had a go at planting some cress seeds using the process discussed and watch the cress grow over time and then they can eventually use the cress that they have grown to make egg and cress sandwiches.
Our next visit from the Key Community Bus will be Tuesday 3rd March, the day after we return from the half term break! Please come along and see what bargains are on board.
