We had a visit from Reverend Ian this morning. He reminded the children of activities and events going on at his church St John’s. He also talked to the children about things they like at Easter. He then talked about the cup of suffering. He explained that Jesus died on the cross and took the suffering with him, linking it to sin. He talked about sin, getting yourself into trouble and how we can stop that. We then sang a song.
Wow! We have had some amazing creations for our recycling Easter Bonnet competition. The children have really taken on the challenge with such enthusiasm and pride, it’s going to be a difficult job choosing a winner.
Well done everyone who took part.
