We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded an Inspire Grant to create “A Garden for Growth”! 
This isn’t just a garden—it’s a sanctuary designed to support our pupil’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills. From sensory zones filled with lavender and mint to quiet “calm corners” for reflection, this space will be the heart of our SEMH support.

We are really pleased to share that Hebburn Lakes have been recognised for its commitment to Healthy Schools by being featured in ‘a better u Approach to Prevention’ report published in collaboration between South Tyneside Council and the NHS.
This is fantastic news for the school and showcases the hard work and commitment of the whole school community.

We are so excited to get started on our super important jobs, such as supporting within OPAL and making vital decisions within school.
Our very first task is to create the decorations for our Halloween disco, how exciting!
