We have had such a brilliant day today!
The jungle playbus was lots of fun… we zoomed down the slippy slide and we loved jumping in the balls!
Some special visitors came to see us and the Reception children – Belle and SpiderGwen! We danced and played games – some of us even won prizes!
We each enjoyed a delicious ice cream too – we needed to eat them quickly because they were very melty!
Here are some photos from our day…

Dear Community,
Please see the attached Flyer if you think anyone in your household with SEND needs would enjoy participating in SEND Cricket Sessions over the summer holidays.
There are various FREEÂ ‘One-Day Camps’Â for 7- 11 year old’s, on offer across the North East, so if you have a budding Ben Stokes, Moreen Ali or James Anderson at home, then get them along to try it out and have some fun at the same time.
Have a wonderful summer!

We enjoyed a fanatstic week of celebrations to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
Because King Charles loves nature, we designed and made nature crowns to wear at our garden party.
We also made commemorative tiles to take home and the School Council decided on items for the classes to contribute to our Coronation Time Capsule.
We held a coffee morning for parents to showcase some of our fantastic work and ended the week with a live band and garden party.
To celebrate the King’s Coronation we made celebration tiles as a keepsake to mark the occasion. Aren’t our designs beautiful?
We are thrilled with the designs that we have added to our main entrance during the Easter holidays. We have also had the toilets decorated with key messages and inspirational quotes. We are sure that you will love them too.
Take a look at the video below to see the process.

This week in our Learning Means The World Theme, Year 3 have been designing and creating their own Greek Coil Pots. This activity required lots of patience as we found it tricky to mould the clay into coils in order to construct our coil pot.
This morning, Year 4 took to the stage to show off all that they have learned about rocks and fossils during their ‘Rocky the Findasaur’ theme. They learned about different types of rocks and soils and how they make up the layers of the Earth. They also learned about the pioneer, Mary Anning and her incredible discovery of the ichthyosaur fossil. She led the way not just for paleontologists but for the recognition of women as scientists too.
.
Well done Year 4 you did a fantastic job!
