Active Futures- Futsal

We have been so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Amy who was from a company called Active Futures. Active Futures run a range of sporting activities around the North East and have been running some of these in our local area. This week the children engaged in an activity called Futsal which is like a smaller scale game of football. Amy showed the children some tricks to do with the football and then played lots of games. The children really enjoyed their sessions and even received a leaflet to take home with all of the information about the activities that Active Futures run. Community Bus Route

Hello all

Just a quick email letting you know that the bus timetable has had a slight update so I have attached the new timetable for your records.  As always we really appreciate your participation in advertising and encouraging/advising others in the community about the many benefits the bus has to offer whether that be affordable shopping, advice or fuel support it all goes a long way in helping those in our community.

The new timetable starts from next week at week one on Tuesday 16th January and will keep rotating from there until any further updates are undertaken in which case I will update you with any further changes.

Foundation of Light Family Learning

The Foundation of Light will be running  family learning sessions at Hebburn Family Hub. The 8-week course allows adults to spend time thinking about their own and their child’s mental well-being. Topics covered include, communicating and managing emotions, self-esteem, resilience, anger and stress and is suitable for parents with children aged 7-11 years old.

As well as the 8 parent sessions a further session will run in which children can also attend and join in some fun activities.
