A busy week in Reception! Investigating ice and snow, building lots of transport ideas, using our Sounds Write skills and so much creativity! ⭐️❤️❄️👏
As part of our Learning Means the World theme, May the Force Be With You, the children carried out a fair test to investigate forces on different surfaces. We discovered that smoother surfaces create less friction enabling the car to travel further faster.
The children in year four have been learning all about ‘The Digestive System’. They have even created their own models using play doh.
The last few Autumn activities and then we have been dipping a toe into Christmas!
A snowy surprise this morning! So we decided to investigate, build and sledge! A fabulous day of creating snowmen, snow angels, sledging and investigating melting snow!❄️ ⛄️ ❤️
This week Reception have been all things pumpkin as we have been using the story Pumpkin Soup in English . We investigated, counted, painted and created so much pumpkin themed learning! We also talked about Remembrance Day and created poppies for our tree⭐️❤️⭐️
We have had a very busy first week back! Using our maths skills, Sounds Write skills and being very creative. We have been looking at China and visiting our Chinese restaurant we created.
