Family hubs and community centre’s in our area have lots of activities for children to enjoy.

Our nursery children can access groups aimed at 0-4 year old to boost their social interaction as well as you as parents/carers to meet new people.

There are also youth groups to keep those children busy that want to be spending some extra time with their friends or that are wanting to meet new friends. These take place at various locations from 8-16 years at a very small cost.

A busy last 2 weeks in Reception!

21st February 2025K Richardson

Wow, what a busy time Reception have had.  We have been looking at the Emergency Services and how they help us.  The children have been full emersed and are ready to join when they are older!  We have been using the story Three Billy Goats in Drawing Club and the children have loved creating bridges, recreating the story and writing sentences about the story.  We have also been measuring our hands and feet.  A fabulous couple of weeks!

Special Visitors to Reception!

13th February 2025K Richardson

We had some very special visitors this afternoon! Our Learning means The World theme this week was ‘Police, fire, ambulance!’  Some very kind police officers came to chat to the children. They told them about all their job and let everyone have a turn in the car, try on some of their uniform and of course have a turn of the lights and siren! We had a fabulous afternoon.
