We had an awesome day celebrating World Book Day. We took part in lots of different activities throughout the day. We performed our favourite traditional tale in the Performance Area and then we listened to a story in Hansel and Gretel’s cottage. Later on, we built a bridge for the three Billy goats, built a giant beanstalk for Jack to climb and made houses for the three little pigs.

Year 4 have shown their flexibility and strength during bridge lessons this week. Well done!
In DT we designed and created a congratulations card for the winner of the class election that took place just before half-term. We designed a card that had a moving part, using levers and linkages. Once we finished creating our cards, we evaluated them. We discussed what we liked about our designs, the challenges we faced and how we would improve or change our design if we did it again.

There’s an Easter open day for the whole family! Go along to find out more about the trust as well as having lots of fun with Easter crafts and tasty treats. NO BOOKING REQUIRED!
They also have a sibling workshop for children aged 8-17years living with an autistic sibling or undergoing the diagnostic pathway. This is an ideal event for children to meet others in a similar position, make new friends and feel safe in a secure environment.
